Frequency Help Button

Liz C. 7 years ago updated by Claire Strnad 7 years ago 1

When I hover over the question mark for the Frequency setting, the content is not visible.  It's hidden under the modal.

Hey LIz,

Thanks for dropping us a note about this! We're aware of the bug and in the process of getting it resolved.

In the meantime, here are the tooltips for the Frequency Options:

Until User Interacts: Your Waypoint will appear consistently, until a visitor interacts with it (i.e., clicks on either the CTA button or closes out of the Waypoint). After that, the Waypoint will not appear for them again until X days later, depending on the number of days you choose.

Once per Visit: A visit is defined as a browser session (i.e., a visitor must closer their browser, reopen it, and visit your page again before a new visit would be logged)

Publish Confirmation

Carl Bliss 7 years ago updated 7 years ago 3

Hello,

With today's new interface, I have a little less confidence that "Publish" of my changes has happened. I found the publish button on the top-left of the screen, but when I click it, I am take back to my list of waypoints and don't really have any assurance that my publish has happened successfully.

Missing a step or some information on how to copy and paste my code to my "header". My URL for my brand/movement is a facebook page. That is probaly the issue. Any advice is appreciated.

Is there a way to use my facebook page of my brand to copy and paste my code to my header?

Answer

Hi Nikcarus,

Thanks for your note and question about adding to Facebook. Currently Journity can only be installed on websites and mobile websites that you can access the the code.  So, unfortunately, it is not currently possible to install Journity on 3rd party websites like Facebook.

Best Regards,

Chad

Add goals to A/B testing

Anonymous 8 years ago updated 7 years ago 2

We are testing a new giving form. It looks like I need to set the destination URL before I can set up A/B testing. It would be nice to be able to test both forms in the same campaign.

Hi there.

Thank you for your idea. We have documented the request.

As a workaround, I'd suggest duplicating the Waypoint and only changing the url. Depending on your amount of traffic you can set version a to be published for date 1 (24 hours) and version b to be published for date 2 (24 hours).

Thanks again for the suggestion.

Check this waypoint

When I try to change the positions http://d.pr/i/mqEjqd/q1o2m8QY I'm getting this error in the side

This should be fixed. It was caused by a bug that was in production for a short while, but has since been fixed...just left over data corruption.

I would like to see Zapier Webhook support for Journity forms.

From Andy

I would like to see Zapier Webhook support for Journity forms.

So, Zapier provides a webhook connection. Zapier gives you the webhook URL and you give it to whatever service (Journity). When the form fires, Journity would load up that URL with the values from the form. Then Zapier would have it and it could be used for anything that Zapier connects with.

Example...

Zapier just gave me this webhook when I created a new Zap: https://hooks.zapier.com/hooks/catch/1036569/sr8bso/

I would put that into a field for my form inside Journity

Then, when the form fired, Journity would hit the URL with the fields values as parameters, such as this:

https://hooks.zapier.com/hooks/catch/1036569/sr8bso/?fname=Andy&lname=ONeil&email=andy@test.com

If you click that link, you will get a "success" response from Zapier.

That means the data is in my new Zap, and can be used with other apps.

Can't Delete Conversion URL

bvanhaitsma 8 years ago updated 7 years ago 2

I tested something but entering a conversion URL. Now I'm unable to remove the value that I entered into the Conversion URL on the content screen. I'm thinking it may be a bug.

Hey Bryan,

We've cleared out the one at: https://app.journity.com/o/roh/e9443a467400191a0ba6053c/cta/revelation-booklet-goaa-1/design/content  (I assumed that was the one that you wanted). You will just need to publish the Waypoint to set it live.

We will work to fix the actual UI bug.

Thanks!

Scheduled campaigns in Review & Publish

Liz C. 8 years ago updated by Kiel Janssen 7 years ago 1

Are scheduled campaigns visible within the Review & Publish section? When I went to publish my campaign set for the future, it seemed to go through successfully, but it doesn't appear checked off on the dashboard, nor does it appear in the "Active Campaigns This Release" section under Review & Publish.

Group Descriptions

bvanhaitsma 8 years ago updated 8 years ago 2

I'm keeping a separate document of what groupnames I have set for journity and a brief description of those groups. It would be nicer to have that built in to Journity someohow. Just idea for future development. :)

Hi Bryan. Thanks for the idea!

Right now we are thinking of making another visibility of Group Memberships outside of Audience Insights that allows you to view activity (user active within group and total count), relationships between users in different groups (like a shared group metric), and management of descriptive info (i.e. proper title, description, urls, etc.( within groups and manage).

Let me know how that sounds.

Best!
