Interstitials and Google Mobile
This is worth noting, as we plan our use, particularly for the low-engagement personas.

Any thoughts on best-practices in light of these requirements?
Answer

Hi Carl,
Great question! We've been discussing this internally since it was released in August. Here are our current hypothesis and thinking
Observations:
1) It appears that the main issue will be the full modals. The bumpers and top-bottom may not take up enough screen space on a mobile devise to impact Google's review.
2) This is scheduled to begin January 10, 2017
Recommendation:
1) One of our hypothesis is that if you use an audience segment for your CTAs that will preclude the Google Bots from seeing the CTA (such as engagement score, geolocation, etc).
We are exploring two options:
1) We are exploring if we can set up SimplePath that will prevent crawlers (specifically GoogleBots) from seeing *any* SimplePath CTAs.
2) If that isn't possible, we are considering adding a checkbox that would allow the customer do choose to hide the CTA on mobile devices.
I'd love to hear your thoughts as well!
Thanks,
Chad

Hey Carl,
Just an update on this... We have added the option whether or not to display the CTA on a mobile device. See screenshot below. Thanks!
